市役所の前の柱に書いてある通りにしています。
市役所の英語には「city office」とか「city center 」という表記もあるようです。
日本だと、役場は事務仕事をしているイメージが強くオフィスっぽいかもしれません。でもホールの語源は「屋根のある広場」、民主主義が広がるなか、「選挙で民に選ばれた議員が話し合いをする場所」という意味が加わり、市議会の行われる市役所はホール。
そんなわけでみんな自分の選んだ市議に、市への意見や要望をどしどし言って、話し合ってもらいましょうね。言わなきゃわかんないのよあの人たちщ(# ﾟДﾟ)ш←落ち着け。

さて、hall になるのは　city と　town で、他はオフィスっぽいです。
village offce　村役場
town office　（town hall)　町役場
ward office　区役所
prefectural office　道・府・県庁。もしくは県名をつけて　the Akita （ｇovernment） office　秋田県庁。
東京都庁は首都なのでメトロポリタンが加わります。the Tokyo Metropolitan Government (office)

使う単語は、「owe」　　借りている。支払いの義務がある。負っている。

今回のお話で、キツネ様はお沢様に借りができ、ヤエ様はキツネ様に借りができました。
借りを返すことはあるのかな？作者様に聞いても「そうさねえ」って言われて終わるから聞かない（笑）。
